How did you get interested in welding?
I tried welding in my junior year of high school and I was better than all of the guys in my class, so I stuck with it because it was fun and it relaxed me.

What do you like most about welding?
What I like most is that I work by myself and not with anyone else and I don't have to be bothered.

What do you plan to do after you finish your education?
My plan is to graduate from Texas State Technical College - Waco welding program with my degree and then go to work in the field for 5-6 years and then become an inspector for the rest of my career, and do welding on the side.

What advice do you have for young people considering welding as a career?
Work hard and try your best. Welding isn't easy. Don't give up, because it is worth it.
